Husin Wiwanto is a litigation lawyer with substantial experience in handling complex criminal, civil, and commercial disputes, with particular emphasis on corruption cases, commercial litigation, and insolvency-related matters. He has represented a wide range of clients, including national and multinational corporations, state-owned enterprises, and high-profile individuals involved in sensitive and high-stakes legal proceedings across Indonesia.
He regularly appears before district courts, commercial courts, and special courts for corruption crimes, acting as counsel in cases involving allegations of corruption, bribery, abuse of authority, financial crimes, and corporate misconduct. His practice also encompasses complex commercial disputes, bankruptcy and suspension of debt payment proceedings (PKPU), debt restructuring, arbitration, and matters relating to monopoly and unfair business competition.
Husin has substantial experience advising and defending corporate clients and executives during criminal investigations and examinations conducted by law enforcement authorities, including the police, the public prosecutor’s office, and the Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK). He regularly provides legal assistance in managing investigations and related legal processes involving corporate and public sector matters.
He is currently a Partner at Adnan Kelana Haryanto & Hermanto Law Firm (AKHH). Prior to joining AKHH, he also held partnership and senior litigation roles at several prominent Indonesian law firms, with a professional background spanning public defense, complex criminal litigation, and commercial dispute resolution.
He obtained his Bachelor of Law degree from the Faculty of Law, Gadjah Mada University, and his Master of Public Notary degree from Pelita Harapan University. Husin is a licensed advocate and a member of the Indonesian Bar Association (Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia – PERADI) as well as the Indonesian Receiver and Administrator Association (Ikatan Kurator dan Pengurus Indonesia – IKAPI). He is fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
